How many tracks can you record?
We can record up to 18 tracks at a time, with a
total of 32 audio tracks plus midi tracks.
Do we bring our own amps?
You can if you want to. Some people record
directly from guitar processors, but this is usually not ideal unless you have
a high end one (Pod, Vox, etc. ) Bass is more commonly recorded direct.
Do we bring our own drums?
You can bring your own drums or use ours. Some
drummers bring extra cymbals, double kick pedal, or favorite snare. If you
bring your own kit, plan on an extra hour or so of setting up and sound
checking.
Do you have Pitch Correction
Yes. Keep in mind that if you can't sing, pitch
correction will not help you. It is for decent singers who have a hard time
keeping certain notes in tune.
Do we record the vocals at the same time as the
instruments?
Generally no, but in some cases we can. Usually
we record a scratch vocal along with the bed tracks (bass, drums, rhythm
guitars) and then record the real vocal track afterwards.
Do you do mastering?
We provide in house mastering for demos and most
local projects, but if you are looking to release you album on a national
level and get substantial radio airplay, then you might consider Gateway
Mastering in Portland.
Can you duplicate our CD?
We do offer CD duplication. Our prices for smaller
quantities are very competitive, however if you need quantities of 500 or more
we recommend Klarity Multimedia in North Vasselboro.
