| Why do I have to remove
"REMOVE" from the email address?
One way spammers steal emails is by
using programs called "spiders" to "crawl" Web sites looking for email
addresses. When a spider finds them, it automatically adds them to its
database and then begins spamming those addresses, and selling the lists
of "good" emails to other spammers.
Any bots finding the email address
info@REMOVEFingertipAV.com
will attempt to email that address, and since there is no "removefingertipav.com"
domain name, it won't work.
This is one way to combat against
spammers. We suggest you do the same if you have a Web site.
Isn't this inconvenient?
It only takes a moment to change the
email address, and it helps keep the spam count down. When too much spam
comes into an inbox, it's easy for good mail to get missed, deleted, or
filtered out as spam. This helps ensure we get your email--we don't want
to miss your important contact. |
